Job Summary :
A clinical research coordinator is a key figure in clinical research projects, responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of clinical trials and studies. Their primary role is to ensure that research protocols are implemented efficiently, ethically, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Duties / Responsibilities : Coordinate participant study visitsPrepare charts and supplies for study visitsLead participant tests, procedures, and eDiary set upData entry for study visitsMaintain participant chartsSend participant reminders for eDiary completion, fasting visits, etc.Attend SIV / IM for primary studiesStudy monitor interactions for site specific and / or patient issuesAssist study monitors during scheduled IMV / COVRemote monitor interactions when neededManage investigational product supplies for primary studiesDispense investigation product or study medication to participantsAnswer queries for primary studies as neededComplete necessary trainingsKeep ISF logs updated for primary studiesPoint of contact for patient related escalations / issues (e.g. AE, SAE, compliance issues, eligibility concerns, unblinding)Review medical records with investigator when received to ensure all study criteria are metAttend and contribute to weekly CRC meetingsAttend and contribute to quarterly staff meetingsDaily emails (~25-50 emails)Skills / Abilities :
Previous laboratory or clinical research experience preferredExcellent organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentCalm under pressure and capable of solving sudden problems that may not have clear answers or readily available resourcesProficient in navigating unfamiliar technology and programs independently and adeptly such as site CTMSPersonableEffective communicator who can cooperate as a member of a teamAbility to prioritize, multitask and work independently within a hierarchyProficient with Microsoft Office 365 suiteEducation and Experience :
Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent clinical research experience preferredPhysical Requirements :
Means and ability to commute to both offices in Media, PA and West Chester, PAProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift up to 30 pounds
Wage : From $22.00 per hour
