Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the nursing department, providing guidance and support to nursing staff.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards of practice.
- Oversee patient care plans, including documentation review and MDS assessments.
- Monitor the quality of care provided to residents, ensuring adherence to resident rights.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care strategies.
- Conduct regular training sessions for nursing staff on medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and best practices in acute and hospice care.
- Supervise the documentation of medical records to maintain accuracy and confidentiality.
- Address any concerns related to patient care or staff performance in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and documentation practices.
- Familiarity with MDS assessments and resident rights regulations.
- Experience in acute care or hospice care settings is highly desirable.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $3,400.00 - $3,646.00 per week
