What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wellness Nurse-LPN position at Rocky Mountain Assisted Living?

We are looking for dynamic and caring individuals with a passion for enriching the lives of seniors.We are searching for our the newest member of our team. Areas for this position include Lakewood and Wheat Ridge.
- Current LPN license in Colorado, with at least one year experience.
- A desire to work with and a sympathetic attitude towards the elderly
- Ability to read and write in English and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic knowledge of Colorado State Health and Environment regulations pertaining to resident care.
- Experience working in a setting that provides care to the elderly.
- Ability to identify resident’s physical, mental and psycho-social needs.
- Ability to work closely and professionally with Rocky Mountain Assisted Living staff, families, residents, outside agencies and vendors.
- Ability to remain patient, poised, and dignified in emergency or crisis situations.
- Knowledge in dementia care or ability to obtain training certification from Alzheimer’s Association within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee and resident information.
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask while maintaining a high level of organization.
- Basic computer skills, including the use of Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
