The position is full time with standard work hours from 8am to 5pm, M-F, with occasional overtime. Adaptability to flexible schedules set by management is essential. The Family Service Advocate exercises individual discretion and independent judgment on significant matters within their scope.The primary role of the Family Service Advocate is to coordinate and provide direct support services collaboratively with the Family Service Specialist to Head Start families through case management, home visits, family needs assessment, family goals, resources, and referrals, establishing and maintaining community partnerships, and doing recruitment / enrollment. Parent and family engagement activities are grounded in positive, ongoing, and goal-oriented relationships with families and work toward parents achieving their goals.
