We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating and project management, with the ability to analyze project specifications and develop accurate cost estimates. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.

Duties

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs.
• Utilize software tools such as house call pro and manage estimates effectively.
• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for accurate pricing.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive project bids.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data for estimating purposes.
• Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
• Assist in contract negotiations by providing detailed pricing breakdowns and justifications.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and related documents for future reference.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of cost control principles and construction management practices.
• Proficiency in estimating software such as House Call pro
• Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
