We are seeking a highly skilled Interim Senior Accountant with prior experience working for large firm (Big4, Moss Adams etc) and in a corporate setting. Your tax, audit and accounting experience will be a great addition to the team and external teams including external auditors, and tax consultants.
The ideal candidate will have experience as an auditor or public accounting and managing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work with cross functional teams between the external Fund Administrator, external auditors, and Property Accounting
- Provide hands-on project management to ensure all deadlines are met, key deliverables are accurate, and all stakeholders are aligned throughout the year-end close and financial reporting season
- Project management and daily reporting of KPIs related to the financial statement close process
- Assist and/or prepare for the annual audit, ensuring all deliverables are accurate and provided on time
- Manage and oversee the year-end close process, working closely Accounting and Controllers to ensure compliance and timely reporting
- Identify and resolve accounting issues in collaboration with internal and external auditors
- Track and manage delivery of audit support requests directly with fund auditors
- Implementation of process improvements and ensure best practices are followed throughout the close and reporting process
- As needed, support Fund tax consultants in the preparation of Fund tax returns, extension filings, investor K-1s, and related supporting files
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience, with a background in public accounting as an auditor, preferably with exposure to private equity or real estate funds
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Yardi, NetSuite, or similar) is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with various teams
