Salary: Starting$17.56 per hour / DOE
General Description
Food production workers are to help in the preparation, packaging, and distribution of food products. They may also be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the production area and adhering to food safety standards. Production workers may be involved in a range of tasks, including sorting, slicing, mixing, filling, and packaging food products for sale. They may also be required to operate machinery, such as machines used to form and package products.
Essential Duties
- Operate machinery to process and package food items
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas
- Monitor the food production process
- Load and unload items to and from machines
- Follow food safety and report related issues to the lead/supervisor
- Follow safety procedures and report related issues to the lead/supervisor
Minimum Qualification and Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in hot, cold, wet, and/or loud environments
- Ability to lift, bend, twist, push & pull materials. Perform repetitive motions.
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work in a team
- Follow Plant Safety Rules, and GMP’s
Physical Requirements and Work Environment

Schedule
- Monday to Friday and some weekends as needed.
- Hours may vary depending on the business needs.
- Mandatory OT
