Overview
Coordinate technical engineering activities of project teams and/or execute technical tasks in the design, development, implementation, and documentation of process automation/control projects. Play the lead role in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing out projects.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for project margin and takes steps to increase the financial health of the project.
- Establish schedule for projects and carefully monitors project for completion.
- Responsible for accurately forecasting budgets and resources of their projects.
- Review and monitor potential sources of risk and strategies for mitigation.
- Presents Project Schedule, Scope, and Resource Plan to divisional Director/Group Manager.
- Enforces quality plans for projects and monitors projects for quality throughout the project life-cycle.
- Serves as the primary commercial contact for customers.
- Manages large projects and/or multiple concurrent projects.
- Regularly communicates directly with account manager, group manager, division director on project and/or account status.
- Actively presents during the sales process by providing schedule, strategy and risks of the project.
- Identify repeat business opportunities.
- Participates in the divisional forecasting and budgeting for the future fiscal year.
Qualifications
- 3 years of Automation Engineering and 1-2 years Project Management Experience in the Industrial Automation field.
- Excellent communications, planning, organization, leadership, and motivation skills.
- Ability to balance project finances, customer satisfaction, and team development.
- Broad background including automation and information solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in relatable field.
