TITLE : Set-Up Manager
DEPARTMENT : Food & Beverage
REPORTING TO : Director of Social & Catering
SUPERVISES : Set-up Crew, Set-up Supervisor
Summary
Oversees the set up and break down of all Club events. Coordinates events with the Director of Social & Catering, Director of Dining Operations, Beverage Direction, Executive Chef, Banquet Chef, Banquet Manager, and Dining Room Managers according to the B.
E.O's and floor plans. Manages the Set-up Crew to ensure the setup and breakdown of events are done in a timely fashion.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Sets-up and breaks-down tables, chairs, theme decorations, and other equipment as requested per contract.
- Provides outstanding service with a smile to our Members and their guests in a professional and courteous manner. Displays teamwork and doing whatever it takes for Members and guests.
- Manages own time and team's time efficiently.
- Stocks supplies for service areas as needed.
- Maintains knowledge of all Club equipment to include sound, video, culinary equipment, and dance floor. Protects the equipment when using and in storage.
- Initiates the set up and break down for all daily events.
- Determines the floor plans for certain events and communicates ideas to team and managers.
- Communicates to management any safety concerns or specific tools that are necessary to fulfill duties.
- Supervises the cleanliness of all equipment and equipment areas. Maintains cleanliness of all storage rooms.
- Collaborates in scheduling the set-up staff
- Attends weekly BEO meetings
Other Functions
- Operates within all guidelines, policies, standards, and constraints as established by the company. Assists in the implementation of Club mandatory standards of operations as they relate to the Food and Beverage operations.
