Electrical Superintendent
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee job site operations, managing teams responsible for the installation, modification, expansion, and repair of electrical systems, conductors, and associated equipment. This role is ideal for a highly organized electrical construction professional with Foreman experience, who is ready to take on larger projects involving multiple crews and supervisors.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all electrical construction field trades on assigned projects.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop working estimates and material take-offs.
- Coordinate job site activities, ensuring materials, tools, equipment, and workforce are available as needed.
- Establish work schedules and staffing plans while utilizing technology such as computers, tablets, and smartphones.
- Serve as the main point of contact for General Contractors, overseeing project scheduling and execution.
- Supervise Foremen and their teams, ensuring the proper installation of electrical feeders, equipment (pumps, motors, generators), distribution panels, lighting fixtures, and other electrical systems.
- Monitor work progress, adjust crew assignments as necessary, and align workflow with other trades.
- Maintain required documentation, including daily reports, time sheets, safety reports, and permits.
- Ensure job site safety compliance and proper employee training by company protocols.
- Investigate and report any safety incidents or accidents involving field employees.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; additional technical education is a plus.
- Prior experience as a Foreman, Journeyman, or Supervisor in electrical construction.
- Current State Journeyman or Master Electrician License (must provide expiration date).
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing commercial, manufacturing, or industrial electrical projects valued at $30M .
- Proven ability to oversee large-scale, ground-up construction projects exceeding $30M.
- Experience managing a team of 50 electricians on job sites.
- Must pass a drug test and background screening.
- Ability to meet physical job demands, including lifting 50 lbs, climbing, balancing, crouching, kneeling, and other physical activities.
- OSHA 30 Certification required (or must obtain within 30 days of hire).
Salary : $105,000 - $125,000
