RS Mowery is Hiring a Safety Coordinator Near Mechanicsburg, PA
Mowery Construction is seeking a Safety Coordinator in the Mechanicsburg, PA area. The Safety Coordinator is responsible for managing safety initiatives and reinforcement of the Company’s safety values and culture under the direction of our Safety Director. This individual is responsible for a safe accident free environment that includes jobsites, office and vehicles and applies to both direct employees and subcontractor employees working for the Company.The Director of Safety is responsible for ensuring that all employees and subcontractors are properly trained in all appropriate and required safety training. Above all, Mowery is looking for a true role model that supports all construction safety practices and stands behind our Company foundations.
This position is entry level.
Required Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Safety Science or equivalent experience.
- In depth technical knowledge of construction related OSHA, federal, state, and local regulatory standards as well as the ability to recognize hazardous situations and implement effective corrective practices is a plus.
- A true passion for safety.
