Information Technology Quality Assurance Analyst

Thank you for taking time to stop by and take a look at the IT QA Analyst role I posted here on LinkedIN, I appreciate it. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Tom Welke. I am Partner & VP at RSM Solutions, Inc and I have been recruiting technical talent for over 22 years and been in the tech sector since the 1990s. So, no 'bots' no 'AI'...just a real person watching old episodes of Top Gear writing a real job description.

So, let's get into it. Social fit is going to be almost as important as technical fit for this role. So, here are some of those social fit characteristics:

• This environment thrives on individuals that are truly enjoyable to chat with. So, if you simply read your resume, we probably won't have a fit. However, if you are the kind of person that looks at QA work as part of a bigger picture and can describe not only what they do, but why and how they do it one way or another, then we probably do have a fit.

This role is being done onsite in any of these locations. I am ONLY looking at candidates that are within driving distance to these locations:

• Cedar Rapids, Iowa (this location is the preference)
• Des Mones, Iowa
• Beaton Rouge, Louisiana
• Rosemount, Illinois

This role is permanent and fully benefitted. In addition, I can only work with US Citizens or Green Card Holders. I cannot work with H1b, OPT, EAD, F1, STEM or anyone that is not a US Citizen or Green Card Holder for this role.

For this role, we are seeking a QA analyst that will oversee the testing phase of the production process of applications and Cloud environments. In this role, you will doing the following:

• Design test plans, scenarios and scripts. We are looking for at least 5 years of IT QA work for this role to be a fit.
• Work with executing various test plans...fun stuff like functional testing, values testing, regression testing, black / white / grey box testing, smoke testing & automated testing. Experience with tools like Selenium Appium, Tricentis, and Leaprork will be something we are seeking.
• Document system & product defects and validate post-defect resolutions.
• Create and maintain QA artificatcs.
• Be the prime communicator of status of the QA work you are doing.

Here is what we are looking for:

• At least 5 years of experience designing test plans, scenarios and scripts. This will need to include working with functional testing, automated testing, black/white/grey box testing, values testing, regression testing and smoke testing.
• Experience with Selenium, Appium, Tricentis, and Leapworks
• At least 5 years of experience documenting system & product defects...this will also need to include validating post-defect resolutions.
• Experience (this is a must have) with the life insurance & annuities space as a QA...specifically, experience with policy administration systems is what we are seeking.
• Experience working in an Azure DevOps environment.
