What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher position at RT Lodge?
Dishwasher:
General Description:
A Lodge dishwasher is responsible for performing multiple tasks associated with Kitchen prep and cleanup.
Essential Duties:
-Washing and putting away kitchen tools used during cooking
-Washing and putting away plates and bowls from normal restaurant and special event activity
-Washing and preparing silverware and glasses to be put away at the end of the night by service staff
-Disposing of food waste
-Transporting dishes from the dish tent to the dish room
-Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
-Help with food prep when asked
Criteria:
-Is able to work flexible hours
-Possesses an ability to maintain poise and a positive disposition s in a variety of challenging situations
-Is a Team player who understands the importance of being a positive part of a group effort
-Follows guidelines of Lodge employment with respect to dress standards and personal appearance
-Responds productively and with efficiency to directions given by Leaders during all shifts
-Communicates scheduling conflicts and needs in a timely manner
-Demonstrates responsibility by timely arrival for shifts and performing duties efficiently
-Supports the well being of coworkers and strives to make their work easier rather than being a burden
-Is able to easily learn and remember where items are placed and how to work equipment
-Is able to work well as both a team member and as an individual
Physical Requirements:
-Is able to remain on feet for an entire shift
-is able to lift at least 25 pounds
