Position Title: Senior Electrical Engineer
Location: Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC) Point Mugu, CA
Pay Rate: The annual salary range for this position is $126,000 - $174,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RTL Networks considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Summary:
RTL Networks has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer. This position will focus on critical aspects of a given program and perform many functional duties independently. The Senior Electrical Engineer will oversee the efforts of Journeyman and/or Junior staff.
Primary Responsibilities:
Essential responsibilities of the Senior Electrical Engineer include, but are not limited to:
- Research, design, develop, test, or supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use.
- Experience with board design for RF analysis and modulation.
- Experience with FPGA/PLD design.
- Experience with troubleshooting, maintaining, upgrading and testing existing electronic circuit cards.
- Experience with designing new multi-layer Printed Wiring Boards (PCB)s.
- Experience with digital and analog circuit design.
- Writing and debugging firmware for new products.
- Experience developing and working with VME based backplanes and PCBs.
- Experience working with Real Time Embedded systems.
- Tools: Mentor Graphics PADS, Cadence OrCAD PCB Designer Suite, MAX PLUS II, Quartus.
Qualifications:
- BSEE/MSEE with a minimum of 10 years' experience.
- Secret clearance.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time.
- Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for clearance at this location.
