As an IT Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and managing the firm devices and equipment
- Managing and working with external IT providers to perform system maintenance, upgrades, deployments, and issue resolution
- Ensure external IT providers resolve technical issues promptly and deliver high-quality internal user support as well as providing direct support to resolve software and hardware issues for staff and accountants
- Ensuring data security, regulatory compliance, and proactive measures against cyber threats
- Negotiating and managing vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements
- Coordinating outsourced vendor management and building strategic vendor relationships
- Contributing to hardware and software specification decisions
- Administering security software and controls while analyzing security system data and communicating findings
- Reviewing and addressing reports on equipment performance, costs, and maintenance
- Staying informed on emerging technologies to recommend improvement that enhance operations of the firm
- Performing other duties as assigned to support the organization’s IT needs
- Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
- 5 years of relevant experience in innovation, IT, technology, or engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Extensive experience in local networks and personal computers
- Proficient in computer hardware, cabling installation and support, wireless technology applications and interface, and IT security
- Highly motivated and the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
- Detail oriented and the ability to prioritize and focus in a high-paced, multi-tasking environment
- Strong written and communication skills
- Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft products
