What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector position at Runergy Alabama?
Job Description:
- Post press appearance inspection (color of battery cells, bubbles, fragments, merging/stringing, the offset of solder strips, bent bus bars, abnormal barcode, other debris, and scratches on the back panel), measurement of size/overall deviation, delamination, and bulging of the back panel.
- IV performance testing (operation control), conducting accurate and one-time inspection and testing, to ensure that the product power meets the requirements of the shipping specifications, and more importantly, meets customer requirements.
- Perform retesting on products with abnormal IV test data, keep records of retesting, and promptly provide feedback to the equipment and technical departments for analysis of the cause.
- The post EL testing operation standard requires that the images and test records of each EL test be saved and archived according to the shift/date, and the test data and images cannot be changed without authorization. If necessary, they can be saved separately on a USB flash drive. All images and IV test data cannot be freely outsourced, and other departments are not allowed to obtain data and images without authorization. If necessary, they should be coordinated with PQE engineers.
- Timely and accurately fill out the report of the on-duty inspection and testing data and submit it to the PQE engineer.
- Isolate and record abnormal images and provide feedback to engineers for judgment.
- Implement safety-related work requirements for this position.
- Ensure smooth approval of EL inspection and other related records during customer and third-party audits.
