Roles & Responsibilities:
- Report to work as scheduled, on time, well groomed, and dressed in proper uniform.
- Work as part of a team and help fellow employees at every opportunity to ensure a memorable experience for our customers is consistently provided.
- Load, run, and unload the dish machine, keep the dish machine clean, and report any functional or mechanical problems to management immediately.
- Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle while washing and storing all tableware and kitchenware.
- Keep the dish room clean and organized while maintaining adequate levels of clean tableware for the dining room and kitchen.
- Bag and haul dish room trash to the dumpster at designated times.
- Restock all dish and restroom areas.
- Perform cleaning and bussing tables.
- Keep service areas clean and complete all assigned cleaning tasks.
- Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss and maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.
- Clean food preparation and production areas as required and understand the following food and safety practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and restaurant maintenance.
- Respond quickly to sweeping and mopping up messes, and bus tables when busy.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by Manager.
- Be available to help with other roles as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant, as directed by management requirements.
- Complete all side work for service areas and ensure checklist are completed during shift.
- Ability to operate all electrical or mechanical devices adhering to all safety rules.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have or be willing to obtain the Food Handler’s card.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.35 - $14.70 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
