We are currently searching for a seasoned Maintenance Mechanic to join our first shift team.
Main Responsibilities
- Skillfully and effectively fix breakdowns to maintain production running in all areas of the plant.
- Fulfill routine maintenance to aid production operations in a fast-paced work setting.
- Identify and fix mechanical, pneumatic/hydraulic, and electrical problems on all plant equipment.
- Finish work orders within a timely manner to the highest quality standards.
- Efficiently correspond between shifts when work is sent along and thorough logbook entries.
- Problem-solve equipment issues precisely and efficiently.
- Carry out all tasks in compliance with safety and GMP guidelines/policies.
- Uphold the plant's Continuous Improvement Program.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3-5 years of progressive technical experience in an industrial manufacturing setting, ideally in the food manufacturing industry (just a plus).
- Completion of an industrial technologies certificate program is preferred.
- Working knowledge of standards, policies, and specifications, including safety procedures and policies for safe equipment operation.
- TIG, gas, and arc welding experience is a plus.
- Prior experience with high-speed processing and packaging equipment preferred.
- Working knowledge and experience in electrical is a plus.
