We are looking for a Patient Financial Services Collector. In this role, you will be tasked with addressing complex patient account issues under general supervision. Your main objective will be to manage and resolve patient accounts effectively.
Main Responsibilities
- Handle complex insurance claims by analyzing system-generated work queues, reviewing insurance contracts, and scrutinizing various reports.
- Identify and collect receivable balances due from third-party insurers.
- Fulfill annual requirements for mandatory education.
- Meet or exceed the set standards for both productivity and the quality of work.
- Deliver outstanding customer service consistently.
- Carry out any other tasks as required.
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
- At least three years of experience in Healthcare Collections is necessary, with specific experience in using the EPIC system.
- Candidates with more than four years of experience in Healthcare Collections is desired.
- A strong understanding of third-party insurance and public assistance programs is essential.
- Exceptional ability to focus on details, highly organized, and proficient in using computers. Professional demeanor is a must.
