About the Position:
We are seeking a motivated Senior Medical Director to join our team.
This role is 100% on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic medical guidance and leadership to clients and internal teams.
- Oversee the development and implementation of medical communication strategies, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on medical and scientific matters, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Lead the development of medical content for various communication channels, including press releases, white papers, and educational materials.
- Review and approve medical content to ensure accuracy, scientific integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, scientific developments, and regulatory changes to inform strategic recommendations and decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including account management, creative, and digital teams, to deliver integrated communication solutions.
- Provide medical expertise and support for new business development initiatives, including proposal development and client presentations.
- Mentor and develop junior medical staff, providing guidance on medical writing, scientific interpretation, and client interaction.
- Represent the agency at medical conferences, client meetings, and industry events, showcasing expertise and thought leadership in medical communications.
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree (MD) or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
- Board certification in a medical specialty preferred.
- Experience in medical affairs or related roles within the healthcare industry.
- Proven track record of leadership and strategic decision-making in medical communications, public relations, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of medical professionals.
- Experience in developing and implementing medical communication strategies.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
