Ryan Herco Flow Solutions/EMI is looking for a CNC Machinist for our Tualatin location.

OVERVIEW/FUNCTION

Under the direction the Production Manager, acquires job skills in order to perform most levels of repeat CNC machine set ups and operation, able to trouble shoot programs, diagnose most machine issues, able to properly identify and assemble tooling. Depending on experience, they may be asked to assist in new employee training. Employee has enough experience to be able to perform cross functional activities as they relate the machine shop duties, quality control and process documentation.

SKILL LEVEL / KEY STRENGTHS

Employee must be able to work with limited direct supervision, work with, and be able to identify most materials used in production. Be able to use hand tools, precision measuring equipment, CNC equipment, and be experienced in demonstrating proper machining practices.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Able to use computer systems / software, machine controllers, and navigate the company’s network proficiently.
• Able to use precision measuring equipment correctly
• May be asked to participate in the new product /process development phase.
• Provide input for new equipment, tooling, and fixture procurement.
• Supports management as requested
• Complies with company policies and procedures

EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with hand tools and power tools / equipment that are typically used in machining operations.
