S³ Inc. has an immediate opening for a Vehicle Protection System Manager to support our programs at Ft. Moore, GA.
Description:
The Vehicle Protection System Manager supports the Maneuver Requirements Division of the Maneuver Capabilities Development and Integration Directorate at Ft Moore, GA. Will provide JCIDS research and writing support to active and legacy projects that are defined as projects with approved JCIDS capability documents and generally between post Milestone A and post Milestone C in the DAS.
Responsibilities:
- Perform capability gap and DOTMLPF-P analysis to inform requirements.
- Develop, write, assemble, and staff capability requirements documents, CONEMP, and Basis of Issue Guidance;.
- Perform CBA and Material Solutions Analysis, conduct product research, and develop COIC and D&OP for operational test.
- Operate, employ, and sustain combat vehicles and passive, and active protection systems employed on vehicles such as M1 Abrams Tank, M2 Bradley Fighting Vehicle, Stryker family of vehicles, AMP and protection sensors employed across the various platforms (e.g. Laser Warning, Radars and Hostile Fire Detection).
- Operate a computer in order to input, retrieve, develop, and manipulate a variety of data and working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office tools to perform said tasks.
Qualifications:
- Must have an active clearance.
- A working knowledge of the US Army functions and its organizational structures with emphasis on Brigade Combat Teams and their functions.
- Have a basic understanding of Army doctrine and operational concepts.
- Bachelor’s Degree or six (6) years of relevant maneuver experience in mounted combat vehicles.
- Experience serving on a Battalion, Brigade or higher-level staff.
- Familiarity with DOTMLPF-P analysis.
- Graduate of - or can complete the following DAU Courses within 10 days of starting work: CLR101 - Intro to JCIDS; ACQ110 - Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management; RQM-110 Core Concepts for Requirements Management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and other operational software.
- Graduate of the Capabilty Development Course and Master Gunner Course is highly desirable.
