SAATI, a global leader in precision screen printing textiles, chemicals and pre-press equipment, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Technical Sales Representative to support our Printing Division in the West / Northwest region. This position will play a critical role in driving sales growth by leveraging our new training and demonstration facility in Gardena, CA, building strong relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and providing expert technical support to screen-printing customers and prospects. Reporting to the Director of Sales, this position requires technical expertise and sales acumen to drive growth and deliver outstanding service to existing and new customers. Must be willing to travel (40%-60%) as required.
Role and Essential Functions :
- Organize and Plan Daily work schedule to build on existing or to engage potential customers
- Create or utilize existing sales presentations, modify content as needed to fit target audience
- Must be customer service oriented, with the drive and ability to meet sales goals
- Possess strong ability to prospect, negotiate, and close sales
- Strong persistence in dealing with people and not giving up easily
- Possess self-confidence, positive mentality, with the ability to manage territories effectively
- Study to acquire strong product knowledge, client relation, and presentation skills
- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
- Effective communication with customers, as well as strong follow-up skills
- Identify leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business
- Aptitude / Ability to utilize Salesforce CRM to log call activity and drive project milestones to closure
- Schedule and cold call prospecting to establish appointments with customer decision makers
- Possess proven analytical / problem solving solutions for the customer and the company
- Identify prospective customers by using business directories, internet, and social media tools
- Follow leads from existing clients, and attend trade shows and conferences
- Answer customers' questions about prices, availability, and product uses
- Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, such as selling strategies and marketing information
- Follow up with customers to ensure they are satisfied and to answer any questions or concerns
- Maintaining records of customer communications and contact information as required
- Maintain awareness of pertinent client information including payment performance
- Maintain knowledge of competitor products, identify and report intelligence on competition
- Desire and ability to balance travel and family life while traveling extensively
