We're currently recruiting for a Desktop Support Technician for our long standing customer in downtown Albuquerque. This is a long term opportunity for someone wanting to prove themselves in a large IT department.
Duties
- PC Builds/Refresh throughout the agency, multiple floors, hundreds of users
- Mapping a network share
- Troubleshoot printing issues
- Software installation
- File transfer
- Anti-virus installations
- Verification of hardware and software setup
- Installation, Re-installation and un-installation issues
- Analyze and troubleshoot solutions
- Good organizational and documentation skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and establish priorities
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time while meeting stated, often short-term, deadlines
- Can work independently and in a team environment
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- At least 2 years experience as a Desktop Support Tech in an enterprise environment.
- Windows 10/11 installation, upgrades & troubleshooting
- HW/SW troubleshooting
- Currently active A , Network certification is preferred
- Must pass drug test and criminal background check
