WHAT YOU WILL DO
Weekend Worship Services
- Eensure the student ministry program is offered on the weekend. This includes program
preparation, setting up and tearing down the rooms used, and staffing requirements. - For Jr. High and High School students. The environment consists of providing connection time,
worship time, preparing and delivering a message, creating avenues for guests to attend, and
assimilating students to take the next steps in their spiritual journey toward maturity. Building
teams, building student leaders, and building adult leaders to help with the development and
execution of the weekend experience.
Connection Events
- Provide, coordinate, and facilitate a monthly connection event that allows current students to
connect and build stronger relationships with each other outside of the Sunday and mid-week small
group experience. The event is also intended to create an opportunity for students to bring their un-
churched students to church.
WHAT YOU HAVE DONE
Experience
- Experience working in student ministry.
- A bachelor's degree is desirable.
- Proficient in the use of Google Workspace.
Qualities
- Passionate follower of Jesus

- Passionate about working with students (Grades 6-12)
- Able to multitask and handle shifting priorities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to lead, direct, coordinate, organize, and follow through
WHAT WE OFFER
Saddleback Church’s pay philosophy is based on internal and external data for pay equity and budgetary considerations for effective stewardship. The estimated pay rate for this position is $25.00-$26.00 per hour. We will provide a pay rate within our salary structure that fits a candidate’s qualifications and experience for the job. The wage range posted does not guarantee a specific wage for a job offer.
