What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Technician position at Safelink Internet?
Safelink Internet Services is the leading provider of wireless internet services, providing coverage to Southern Idaho and the surrounding areas of West Yellowstone, MT and Ontario, OR. The primary requirements of the position may include installing services at customers homes, including attached radio antennas to the roof or pole, pulling and connecting cables, and troubleshooting internet connectivity issues. You may also be asked to help in the construction of new service towers as needed. Additional commissions are also available to installers who recognize the importance of selling and take the time to offer the same service to neighbors of a recent installation.

We provide all the training and certifications you need to be successful.
Continual training provided both on the job and in house.
Experience in Wireless Internet, Satellite or Cable TV installation is a preferred but not required.
Basic construction experience is also desired but not required.
We provide a take home vehicle, primary tools, laptop, phone, daily uniform, etc.
This is an employed position, not contract work
This is a full time position with some overtime.

Requirements:
Comfortable with heights.
The job requires getting on and off of rooftops using ladders and occasional climbing of towers, grain silos and other structures.
Good mechanical aptitude.
A clean driving record.
No criminal history.
A great personality and professional appearance.
Good communication skills.
You will be working with customers at their homes.
Must be able to pass a drug test.
