Responsible for seeing policies through to the finish line, our Account Services department facilitates the processes between Claims, Underwriting, and our brokers. Ranging from rating services to audits to operational guidance, the available career opportunities are abundant with varying levels of specialty. In the role of Technical Services Coordinator you will be responsible for providing technical support, participating in User Acceptance Testing, and documenting user processes for our policy administration systems and supporting software applications.
Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Technical Services Coordinator will include:
- Acting as a liaison between business user and the Information Technology department
- Engaging in professional communication with internal and/or external customers and performing timely follow up
- User Acceptance Testing with system enhancements and bugs in applications utilized within Account Services, Corporate Compliance, Claims and Insurance Underwriting departments with peer review. Supports maintaining department documentation and knowledge-based articles in a uniform manner.
- Demonstrating an understanding of the department’s customer service standards.
Qualifications:
Education:
- College Education Preferred
- Intermediate-level proficiency in Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook applications
- Strong written and oral communication skills required while displaying a professional attitude
- Experience with development and execution of test cases based upon system specification and documentation
- Insurance Designations a plus
