In the role of Technical Design Specialist you manage drawing configuration activities necessary to incorporate new products or product changes into our configuration control system in accordance with contractual, customer, program and regulatory requirements, with the use of available drafting software solutions. This position contributes to our vision by:
• Monitors, coordinates and responds to requests related to drawing management and drafting support within acceptable response time;
• Negotiates between organizations to get agreement on incorporation plans and completion dates;
• Produces defined status report packages including project capitalization presentations;
• Understands applicable procedures, processes, and skills appropriate for the assignment;
• Drafting of manufacturing aids and fixtures based on sketch or conceptual design;

Qualifications:
Safran Electrical & Power looks for service-oriented team players with strong interpersonal skills, the right attitude and adaptability to an innovative and evolving environment. • Associate degree in Engineering or vocational training preferred.
