SAIC has an opening for an Electrical Engineer Intern in Middletown, RI.
Responsibilities
IMPACT Errors may be difficult to detect and would normally result in loss of customer business, material, or equipment to resolve.
LIAISON Contacts are frequent with individuals representing other departments, and/or representing outside organizations. Contacts involve obtaining or providing information or data on matters of moderate importance to the function of the department of which may be a sensitive nature.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE AA Degree in related discipline and three (3) years or more of related experience; Or, High School and five (5) years of related experience.
Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITY Full knowledge of the job. Complete acquaintance with and understanding of the general and detailed aspects of the job and their practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered. Supervision Received Limited supervision. No instructions needed on routine work and general instructions given on new lines of work or special assignments.
CLEARANCE
U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

SAIC has an opening for an Electrical Engineer Intern in Middletown, RI.
Responsibilities
- Design and test electronic systems for embedded applications, custom data acquisition systems, and automated test hardware for land-based testing of naval systems.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- Hands on lab experience using oscilloscopes, function generators, network analyzers etc.
- Provides technical support, either within the company or in support of customer contracts, on assignments using established procedures.
- Candidates are primarily engaged in the technical or scientific disciplines through the course of college study.
