Description
SAIC is seeking a Junior Software Tester to support the USMC at our Hanahan, SC location. This position is 100% on- site.
The Junior Software Tester will be responsible for the following:
- Testing activities include writing test requirements and plans, executing tests, regression testing, performance testing, and integration testing
- Prepare and conduct document reviews for software requirements, test plan, requirements traceability and existing test cases
- Preparation of test plans
- Execution of tests (component integration tests, regression tests, performance tests, timing tests) and defects reporting
- Write test cases and scripts and identifies data for test scenarios
- Performs testing of software to ensure it is free of defects and meets customer business needs
Qualifications
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems or related technical discipline and zero (0) years; Additional four (4) years of relevant work experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance; US Citizenship required.
Required Skills:
- Must possess current CompTIA Security or equivalent Certification
- Must have experience in testing hardware or software systems
- Must possess/demonstrate attention to details, good verbal and written communications skills
- Must live local to the Charleston, SC with the ability to work onsite daily.
Desired skills:
- Experience with USMC software and Command and Control software and servers.
- Certified Software Test Professional or similar software testing certification is desired
- Previous Supporting DoD C4ISR Programs of Record
- Experience with DoD C4ISR Systems Supported: Combat Data Network, Common Hosting Environment, or similar C2 software systems.
