Journeyman Electrican

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team.

Title: Journeyman Electrician

Work Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM & Emergency On Call Schedule.

Reports to: Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Electrician who specializes in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and light commercial settings.
• The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in electrical work, prioritize safety, and be committed to delivering reliable and efficient electrical solutions for our clients. This role requires attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively with a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Implement electrical wiring plans for lighting, intercoms, and other systems.
• Install electrical fixtures, equipment, and safety components (e.g., switches, panelboards, circuit breakers).
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, including shorts and damaged components.
• Connect and test the wiring for electrical circuits and IT networks, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
• Prepare and assemble conduits, routing wiring through them effectively.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify hazards, replace outdated wiring, and maintain system reliability.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and legal standards while proactively identifying and addressing potential risks.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an electrician with expertise in industrial or commercial electrical systems.
• Proficiency in using electrical tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeters) and interpreting blueprints and electrical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and legal guidelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
