Summary

We are looking for a skilled CNC Operator to set up, maintain, and operate CNC machinery. You will ensure smooth and efficient operation of production processes, producing high-quality parts and materials by programming machines to perform the correct programs/operations.

Training:

Duration: 10 to 12 weeks

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 4:00am – 12:00pm

Primary Shift Post-Training: 2:00pm – 10:00pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Prepare and operate CNC machines for tasks such as wire EDMing, drilling, and grinding

• Understand specifications by reading mechanical drawings

• Translate work orders into CNC programs for the machines

• Load raw materials and parts onto the machines

• Conduct test runs to ensure machines produce outputs according to specifications

• Monitor machines during operations and make necessary adjustments

• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements

• Perform daily maintenance checks on machinery

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator

• Skill in operating CNC machinery and precision measurement tools

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings

• Basic understanding of CAD/CAM programming and operation

• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude

• Compliance with safety guidelines
