Pay Range
Days: $33.44-38.77
The base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. Shift differentials have been included in the range. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity and contracts

Minimum Requirement:
- Associates Degree Histotechnology, or H.L.T certification and certification from recognized agency.
- NYS License required.
Job Summary
- Qualified candidate will assume responsibility for the processing, embedding, cutting and staining of Dermatology tissue to assist the Dermatologist in MOHS surgery.
- Candidate will write procedures and participate in the maintenance of the related equipment.
- Assist the providers in the preparation of the patient for procedures and other clerical duties as requested.
- May also assume responsibility for processing, embedding, cutting and staining of surgical and autopsy tissue, and for the perparation and staining of cytopathology specimens according to established policies and procedure for Pathologist's examination and interpretation.
- Assume responsibility for the correct management of the patients body tissue which includes perparing microscopic sections for diagnosis by Pathologist.
