Sampson Regional Medical Center is hiring a Paramedic to join the Ambulance Services Department!
Description:
The selected candidate will work as a member of the Emergency Department clinical team. Responsibilities include the transportation and care of patients during transport to tertiary care facilities, as well as convalescent transport to facilities or home. The paramedic will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide appropriate age specific care in compliance with standards of practice in the hospital setting, when not transporting patients. Skill set approved by NC-OEMS and hospital policies will be utilized.
Qualifications:
Will work an average of 35 - 40 hours per week. May work additional hours for the effective operation of the department.

Qualifications:
- Completion of OEMS approved training and competency program for Paramedics.
- Current North Carolina Paramedic certification required.
- Six months experience in a pre-hospital environment as a Paramedic required.
- BLS, ACLS and PALS
- North Carolina Emergency Vehicle Driver certification or comparable
- Current Class C driver's license
- Current three (3) driving history absent of violations.
