San Antonio Colonnade Hotel is Hiring a Shuttle Driver/Bell Person Near San Antonio, TX

The Bellperson is responsible for helping guests in and out of the property, assisting guests by providing safe transportation, carrying baggage and delivering items and information in an efficient and pleasant manner. Additionally, this position will also be responsible for assisting guests with transportation by using the hotel vehicles and vans.

Education & Experience:

· High school diploma or GED certification preferred or equivalent work experience.

· At least one year guest service experience in hospitality environment or equivalent experience preferred.

· Valid driver’s license for the applicable state and MVR in good standing.

· CDL may be required, depending on area and vehicles.

· Previous preferred customer service experience.

· Flexible schedule to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Physical Demands:

· Long hours sometimes required, including nights and weekends.

· Heavy work-Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 50 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

· Able to stand for entire shift.

· Will be driving hotel vehicles.

· Regular attendance is required in compliance with Prism standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.

· Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes a clean, pressed uniform and correct nametag when working.

· Comply at all times with Prism standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.

· Must, at all times, be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers, and other team members.

· Assist incoming and outgoing guests carrying baggage to and from their rooms; explain features of room to guest ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly; give location of ice and vending machines; review safety procedures.

· Maintain thorough knowledge of all hotel facilities, outlets and services for guests as opportunities to increase guest satisfaction and maximize hotel revenues.

· Respond to guest needs including delivery of guest mail/messages, and any other requests received from guests or Guest Services staff.

· Transport guests to and from airport or other guest requested locations in a safe manner, if applicable.

· Provide guest with local directions in a courteous and accurate manner.

· Ensure baggage is secured and tagged at guest request to store baggage.

· Accept dry cleaning from guest and secure for pick up by dry cleaning company; deliver clean laundry to guest room in a timely manner.

· Respond quickly to guest requests or complaints in a friendly manner and ensure appropriate action is taken. Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction and keep all incidents well documented.

· Ensure proper key procedures for all master lock and vehicle keys.

· Maintain a friendly and approachable manner for all guest interactions.

· Maintain mileage log and reports any maintenance issues to supervisor.

· Keep vehicles clean and well maintained for guests.

· Follow company policies and procedures.

· Perform other duties as requested by management.

· Attend meetings/training as required by management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
