RESPONSIBILITIES
Under general supervision of the Director of Community Services, the Community Services Manager will develop and coordinate the Biennial Vendor File Reviews and the assigned responsibility for the development, implementation monitoring and evaluation of assigned service areas.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s or Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in the field of Human Services, Health Services, Special Education, Business Management or other related field. Bachelor’s Degree: At least five (5) years’ experience with persons with developmental disabilities in a professional capacity with at least three (3) years of supervisory or management experience or at least two (2) years of the five (5) years’ experience working at a regional center and a minimum of one (1) year of formal supervisory or management experience. Master’s Degree: At least four (4) years’ experience with persons with developmental disabilities in a professional capacity with at least one (1) year of supervisory or management experience or at least five (5) years’ experience with persons with developmental disabilities in a professional capacity; and the completion of a formal management or leadership training program with at least 20 training hours.
OTHER
Familiarity with current legislation and regulations as they relate to the Title XVII requirements and regulations, contracting requirements, and vendor audits. Knowledge of legal and risk management principles. Experience with financial audits, budgets, and quality assurance. Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with a variety of stakeholders and community partners.
Position requires reliable and timely transportation to perform regular job duties on a routine basis out of the office. Mileage reimbursement will be provided for use of a personal registered vehicle with proof of insurance and a valid driver’s license.
STARTING SALARY
BA/BS $6,969 to $7,666 monthly
Master’s $7,721 to $8,493 monthly
