RF CABLE ASSEMBLY SUPERVISOR
JOB SUMMARY: The RF Cable Assembly Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the RF Cable Assembly department. This role involves managing a team of technicians, ensuring the quality and efficiency of assembly processes, and maintaining compliance with industry standards. The supervisor will also be responsible for training staff, troubleshooting issues and collaborating with other departments to meet production goals.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
· Ensures that proper cable and components have been issued for work orders.
· Works alongside cable assemblers in all work cells to meet production needs; wire stripping, tin dipping, soldering, crimping & labelling, testing, etc.
· Observes cable assemblers work and provides guidance on proper workmanship
· Validates/audits assemblers’ in-process inspection reporting (in-real time)
· Set up assembly and test equipment; Schleuniger wire strippers, solder pots & irons, RF Network Analyzers.
· Validate & troubleshoot cable RF performance using RF Network Analyzers
· Maintain accurate records of production and quality metrics.
· Other duties are required -
PrerequisiteS:
· 5years of experience in producing RF coaxial cable assemblies
· IPC-620, J-Std-001 certifications a big plus
· Experience with soldering, Schleuniger strip equipment & RF VNA testing
· Experience using ERP systems, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
· Must be able to deal with people at all levels.
MEASUREMENTS:
· Department quality PPM and lot acceptance
· On-time delivery to customers
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
· Regularly required to sit or stand and move about the facility.
· Required to be able to read documents and computer screens.
· Occasional exposure to shipping and receiving elements such as dust, and noise.
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
