What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fine Jewelry Sales Associate position at Sanborn's Jewelers?
Sanborn's Jewelers is a family owned, community driven jewelry store looking to expand our team. We are a stand alone jewelry store located in West Michigan. Sanborn's takes pride in the quality products they carried as well as the experience each customer receives when they walk through the doors. We are seeking the right candidate to complete our team and help us continue to provide the utmost service our customers have learned to depend on since 1954.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they arrive and answer their questions about the company, products, and services.
- Process customer purchases, repairs, special orders.
- Customer outreach to increase sales/ revenue.
- Light cleaning of the sales floor and employee areas.
- Small repair work such as- battery replacement, watch link removal, ring cleaning/ polishing.
- Work with other sales staff members to build quality relationships and look for opportunities that will increase sales
- Additional tasks as assigned
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication skills with a strong desire to provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to learn quickly and adjust to changing circumstances.
- Must be highly organized, detailed oriented, able to prioritize work, and have strong communication skills.
- must be able to lift 10 pounds
Wages are hourly plus commission.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 42 per week
