Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversee the following departments both outside sales and national accounts
- Sets strategic goals for each department.
- Provides constructive timely performance feedback to staff.
- Partners with HR to recruit, interview, train, hire direct reports.
- Provide visionary leadership to reporting departments by setting clear objectives and fostering a high-performance culture to include setting performance metrics, regularly evaluate team performance, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key customers, distributors, vendors, and industry influencers.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, engineering, and operations teams to optimize Strategy.
- Prepare regular reports, presentations, and analyses for Executive Leadership.
- Develop and oversee departmental budgets/forecasts.
- Proactively identify and evaluate potential M&A, or partnership opportunities by assessing market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry dynamics for growth or investment
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence and risk assessments on potential opportunities.
- Oversee post-merger integration processes to ensure a seamless transition and realization of synergies.
- Work cross-functionally to develop integration plans, align cultures, and implement strategies to maximize the value of acquired businesses or partnerships.
- Assist in developing long term strategic plans based on acquired assets or new partnerships.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion.
- Collaborate with management to align sales strategies with company objectives and market trends.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities, markets, and customer segments to increase sales and market share.
- Evaluate market conditions, competitor activities, and industry trends to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Oversee the implementation of effective sales processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to company standards.
- Monitor sales pipelines, forecasts, and metrics to track progress and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, engineering, and operations to optimize sales strategies.
- Utilize data analytics and CRM tools to drive informed decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the commercial department, suggesting and implementing enhancements for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Develop, maintain, and deploy the company’s go to market strategy accordingly.
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- MBA or equivalent preferred.
- 10 years sales/business development experience required.
- Ability to multi task, prioritize workload, and work effectively in a team oriented environment.
- Exceptional relationship management skills and the ability to build and grow connections.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of business management principles including strategic planning, leadership, resource allocation, budgeting, and production.
- Proven experience in customer service or client-facing roles
- Proficient with Microsoft Office & Google products.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and drive long distances.
- Ability to travel in accordance with business demands.
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds at a time.
