Metal Fabricator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metalworking and fabrication processes, with the ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and a commitment to producing high-quality stainless steel products.

Duties

• Fabricate metal components according to specifications and blueprints.
• Operate various machinery including rigs, cranes, and plasma cutting equipment.
• Perform welding tasks using techniques such as TIG, MIG or plasma cutting
• Assemble machines other metal structures as required.
• Conduct machining operations to shape and finish metal products.
• Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

• Proficient in reading schematics and technical drawings for accurate fabrication.
• Experience with rigging and crane operation is beneficial.
• Manual polishing, buffing & grinding for metal finishing
• Electropolishing - surface finish knowledge
• Machining / Drill press - safe operation
• Robot integration - EOAT design and building
• PPE training / OSHA 10
• Knowledge of plasma cutting techniques for precise metal cutting.
• Basic math skills for effective measurement and calculation tasks.
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality control in all fabricated products.

Job Types: Part-time, Internship

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
