Job Summary*
Sarasota Academy of the Arts is seeking a dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students in various educational settings and possess a passion for fostering a positive learning environment and a love of the Arts
*Responsibilities*
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in accordance with the school's curriculum
- Provide individualized instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and complete Response to Intervention supports
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to enhance student learning outcomes
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student development
- Incorporate technology and other resources to enrich the learning experience as SAA is a Google Classroom School
*Qualifications*
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Teaching certification or licensure
- Experience working with elementary school students
- Knowledge of educational best practices and child development principles
- Familiarity with special education and early childhood education concepts
- Ability to create a positive and nurturing learning environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
