Saratoga Medical has an exciting opportunity for a Biologist at Bethesda, MD. This full-time role offers a 40-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, excluding Federal holidays. Please see qualifications below and submit your resume if you are interested in being considered:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a biological science field.
- 2-3 years of direct experience in laboratory-based research.
- Experience performing cell-line based viral neutralization assays and data analysis.
- Proficiency in preparing viral stocks, maintaining cell cultures, and tracking reagents in a database.
- Ability to handle blood samples from HIV-infected humans, small animals, and non-human primates at biosafety level 2-with-3 practices.
- Experience with molecular biology techniques, such as PCR, plasmid preparation, sequence analysis, gel electrophoresis, and ELISA assays.
