What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift SANITATION (4600 Pulaski Highway Baltimore, MD 21224) position at SAVAL FOODS LLC?
Mon - Fri 2:00pm to 10:30pm
REQUIREMENT: Sanitation responsibilities
Job duties:
1. Dry pick-up area and remove all raw materials.
2. Cover all electrical outlets, screens and anything not to be exposed to water.
3. Break down and set up equipment when needed.
4. Use high pressure hot water along with the allotted amount of chemicals to clean, foam and scrub equipment, floors, walls etc.
5. Visually check the areas for cleanliness.
6. Perform repetitive movements over long time periods.
7. Must be familiar with Lock Out, Tag Out procedures.
*Required duties of all positions:
1. HS Grad or equiv
2. Follow all GMP’s as trained.
3. Clean area as you work to maintain personal and product safety.
4. must use proper safety equipment at all times.
5. Able to work with caustic and acid chemicals.
6. Work in cold (38 degrees) and wet environment.
7. Able to lift 150 lbs.
8. Perform repetitive movements over long time periods.
9. Standing 100% of the time while at work.
10. Basic Math Skills
11. Good written & verbal communication skill
12. Able to work independently, be well organized and perform multiple tasks.
13. Able to handle product according to specifications.
14. Skill in dealing with superiors and peers.
