Successful Baltimore Manufacturing Plant celebrating 90 years of success is seeking Dynamic 3rd Shift Production Associates to join our team.
Second Shift Cook Mon -Fri 2:00p – 10:30p (or until finished)
Job duties:
Load oven with racked product based on cook recipe to be used.
Start oven on correct recipe based on cook requirements
Monitor the operation of the ovens and temperature of product. Data is to be entered into the spread sheet on an hourly basis.
Monitor and record cooling of product in chill box or chill vessels. Data is to be entered into the spread sheet on an hourly basis.
The temperature and hold time must be monitored and verified.
Able to provide and receive support when moving product on racks in and out of the oven.
Able to properly probe product for accurate temperature reading
Understand the basics of HACCP and the requirements of the program.
Able to recognize deviations from cooking and cooling, then take appropriate action to correct the deviation prior to HACCP failure.
Required:
Follow all GMP’s as trained. • Clean area as you work to maintain personal and product safety. • Work in cool (41degrees) and wet environment. • Able to lift 150 lbs. • Perform repetitive movements over long time periods • Standing for long time periods • HS Grad or equiv • Basic Math Skills • Good written & verbal communication skill • Able to work independently, be well organized and perform multiple tasks • Able to handle product according to specifications • Skill in dealing with superiors and peers
