What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Labor ( Racking Team) Location 4600 Pulaski Hwy, position at SAVAL FOODS LLC?
Schedule: Mon - Fri 2:00p - 10:30pm (until finished)
Job Duties:
• (Puts meat on racks after preparing them for cooking)
• Responsible for netting bagging and racking products in process and ready to cook
• Verify piece count of lot and relay information to operations manager
• Responsible for identifying the lot with the appropriate lot tickets provided by operations manager.
Required duties:
• Follow all GMP’s as trained.
• Clean area as you work to maintain personal and product safety; must be able to thoroughly clean tumble as needed between product changes.
• Work in cool (41degrees) and wet environment.
• Able to lift 45 lbs to 75 lbs
• Perform repetitive movements over long time periods
• Standing for long time periods
• HS Grad or equiv
• Basic Math Skills
• Good written & verbal communication skill
• Able to work independently, be well organized and perform multiple tasks
• Able to handle product according to specifications
• Skill in dealing with superiors and peers
