SAVANNAH DISTRIBUTING is Hiring a Driver Helper (Sav) $1000 SIGN ON BONUS Near Savannah, GA
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Driver Helper rides with the Driver and assists with activities such as loading/unloading, merchandising and other responsibilities as necessary. Driver Helper will represent our company in a professional manner aiming at increasing profitability and customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist Drivers in the delivering products into stores, restaurants, and other customer locations.
- Assist Drivers in the rotation of products.
- Assist Drivers in getting in and out of loading zones and parking structures.
- Maybe assigned to warehouse duties. Follows company safety standards
- Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Skills/Qualifications/Education:
- High School degree
- Valid Georgia driver’s license with clean driving record
- Pass pre-employment and random drug screens
- Abide by all state and federal laws on the road
- Basic mathematical skills
- Dependable with excellent time management skills
- Possess suitable communications skills to create a positive interaction experience with our customers
- Have reliable transportation to work each day
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Must be able to work in a team-oriented, professional and fast-paced environment in a variety of weather conditions. Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 80 pounds. Must be able to work overtime as needed.
