What You'll Do in This Position
We are seeking a highly skilled PeopleSoft Supply Chain Management System Specialist to leverage their systems expertise and drive impactful solutions within our organization. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and optimization of our business systems, ensuring seamless and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- System Expertise and Leadership : Serve as a super user and provide advanced technical expertise in PeopleSoft SCM, ensuring its optimal performance and reliability.
- Project Management : Lead software implementation projects, coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and integration.
- Technical Support : Diagnose and resolve end-user computing and connectivity issues, delivering timely solutions and minimizing downtime.
- Collaborative Problem-Solving : Work closely with personnel to address procedural and technical challenges, fostering a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Data Analysis and Reporting : Perform extensive data mining activities to extract valuable insights, and design, build, and implement metrics, scorecards, and reporting tools used by SCM personnel.
- System Administration : Act as the Administrator and Subject Matter Expert for specific supply chain software modules, overseeing their configuration and maintenance.
- System Validation : Design and execute comprehensive tests to validate system operations, ensuring they meet performance and reliability standards.
- Operational Support : Support ongoing activities related to achieving and maintaining effective SCM business system operations, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
The SCM Lead will be expected to facilitate Supply Chain Management work at the senior professional level. The successful candidate will be able to continue progressing in this role or be able to cross train to support other SCM functional areas to include : Warehouse Operations, Property Management, Facility Management, Acquisition Services and Inventory, Acquisition Support, Small Business Program, Policy & Compliance, Business Engagement, and Technical Services.
The mission of SCM is to perform at optimum capacity to achieve excellent customer service at the Savannah River Site. Organizational goals have been defined in SCM's Strategic Plan with flow down to employees. The SCM Resource is responsible for :
Security Clearance Information
SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and / or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance.
