What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surgical Coordinator position at SAVANNAH VASCULAR INSTITUTE LLC?

Responsibilities include the overall coordination and scheduling of patient?s diagnostic imaging (MRI/CR/PET) surgeries/procedures, obtaining precertifications and authorizations, verifying patient?s insurance deductibles/ co-insurance and charge capture. Candidates should have related experience in surgical coordinating, obtaining insurance precertifications, and CPT & ICD-10 coding. Clinical knowledge and medical terminology experience preferred.
