What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scaffold Apprentice/Ground Person position at Scaffolding Solutions LLC?
Scaffolding Apprentice/Ground Person is part of a mobile crew going to construction and industrial job sites to erect and dismantle scaffolding structures for safe elevated worker access to perform construction and repair services on buildings and manufacturing facilities. Working Safely is critically important for all employees. The Apprentice/Ground Person position is primarily the scaffolding material handler, moving parts and pieces to the erectors who are building the scaffold structure. This position also enables candidates to move into the entry-level apprentice scaffolding erector where training and skill development is provided for employee growth.

- Any experience with system scaffolding is a plus, but not required. We will teach you what you need to know to thrive.
Scaffolding Solutions Employment Criteria
- All positions full-time, locally based employment for career with company.
- United States Citizen, required for government contracts.
- Pre-employment Drug Screen required.
- Pre-employment Background Screen required.
- No felony convictions in last 10 years or misdemeanors in the last 5 years
- Must have Valid Driver’s License and Reliable transportation.
- Physically fit, able to climb scaffolding and lift, handle, pass, and carry 75 pounds.
- Safety track-record without major incidents in previous employment.
- High School graduates/GED preferred.
- Candidates’ must provide their own steel-toe boots.
