Job Description: Scanning, Quality, Release/Index Specialist

Job Summary/Work Schedule

• Normal Work Schedule: 5 days a week, 9 hours per day, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.
• Evening and third shifts may be required, depending on assignment.
• Primary Work Type: Seated task with constant use of upper extremities, primarily for keyboard-related tasks.

Job Requirements

This role encompasses four main components with opportunities for rotation between tasks, either on different days or during a single shift:

• Scanning
• Prepped cartons are moved (one at a time) to scanner positions.
• Employees load sheets into various types of scanners for processing and ensure documents are returned to the box in the original order.
• Tasks may require feeding scanners one sheet at a time or in small batches, depending on the material.
• This is primarily a seated task, with about 20% of time spent standing.
• Quality Control
• Confirm the accuracy of scanned documents.
• Primarily a seated task, accounting for 10% of the position overall.
• Release/Index
• Document files and release scanned material to the customer.
• Significant data input and high keystroke rates required.
• Primarily a seated task, accounting for 10% of the position overall.

Essential Functions

• Scanning: Must be detail-oriented and able to operate, clean, and troubleshoot scanners.
• Quality Control and Release/Index: Strong attention to detail and proficient computer skills. Requires significant data input with a high keystroke rate.

Workplace Attire

• Attire must be presentable and appropriate for the working environment.
